Our waitress was enthusiastic and personable, which was a nice change from restaurants in surrounding areas. Also, an older man who works there came out into the dining room and sang a song for everyone...so cute!
The dining room is very small, however, it has that cozy, woodsy type feeling. The decor is sort of log cabin themed. I had the feeling of being in a local restaurant in New Hampshire or Vermont, which was nice.
I would definitely recommend dining at The Cabin for those who are visiting Plymouth County. If you are looking for a friendly, home-style restaurant experience, you will find it at The Cabin.
The Cabin is a cozy local restaurant in Middleboro, Massachusetts. This restaurant is a great choice for those looking for a good meal served in a comfortable environment with friendly, personable service. We found out about this restaurant through family who have lived in the area for several years; The Cabin is very popular with locals.
The menu consists of: seafood, stone oven pizza, pastas, appetizers, sandwiches, and more. For our appetizer we went with the Cabin Combo, which was a plate of french fries, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and potato skins. I normally try to stay away from fried foods, so this was a nice treat for me!
For my entree, I ordered the special of the day, a pesto pasta with shrimp. The serving was humongous - I had leftovers for 2 days! Great pasta, I just wish they would have had the option for whole grain noodles.
There are over 10 different pizza specials. My boyfriend ordered the macaroni & cheese special. He liked it although it was a bit smaller than we were expecting.
Food was good and prices were reasonable. Our bill (without drinks) came out to around $35.
