Persy's Place is a family style restaurant with locations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It is known for having the largest breakfast menu in New England. This is one of the best places if your party cannot decide on a restaurant as they have a huge menu with something for everyone. I first visited this restaurant while visiting my sister who lives in the area. I became a big fan and now visit this place for breakfast whenever I visit. Update: I moved to the Fall River area and visited this cute cafe many times for breakfast. The meals have always been wonderful and I love the rustic setting.
Persy's Place claims to be home to the largest breakfast menu in New England. This is my favorite breakfast restaurant whenever I am in the mood for a laid-back cozy ambiance and a good hefty homemade meal. Everything I have tried to date has been wonderful.
A few of the must try entrees here include the customized omelettes (they are huge and bursting with whatever veggies or meats you choose to include), the Quiche (definitely the best in the area), and the California Burrito (stuffed with all sorts of goodies like avocado, chopped tomato, and cheddar cheese and topped with sour cream and chunky salsa).
The coffee here is quite good and it's bottomless, so you can relax with multiple cups of joe while decompressing in the laid-back country ambiance.
Persy's also offers daily specials and lots of fun seasonal fare (try the Thanksgiving Benedict!). They also go pumpkin crazy with pumpkin waffles, pancakes, crepes, French toast, and oatmeal on the lineup! If you need your pumpkin fix, head over to Persy's! As a fan of everything pumpkin, I love indulging in seasonal fare as soon as September rolls around.
Service has been great on every visit. The food takes a little long, but the brain teaser games keep you occupied while you are waiting.
I love the country atmosphere with the wood bench tables and log cabin style décor. Another fun aspect of this restaurant is the little table games that they have available while you are waiting for your food. If you have ever visited a Cracker Barrel, the ambiance is quite similar, only with a New England twist.
I recommend this restaurant if you are seeking a great breakfast destination in Massachusetts or Rhode Island. The charming country atmosphere and great homemade food makes for an enjoyable weekend breakfast. I really love the Middleboro location: it's so rustic and charming and the service is always top notch. I highly recommend treating yourself to a slice of quiche - it's the best you will find in the area.
