Fox's is a great local restaurant and pub in the Southwest Chicago suburbs. As a Chicago native, it's my favorite pizza place in the suburbs. I have been ordering pizza here for over 30 years. This local gem is most famous for their amazing thin crust pizza. It is both a takeout pizza place and a restaurant/bar featuring live entertainment. The dining ambiance is perfect for a fun Friday night out gathering with family or friends.
Fox's thin crust pizza is the best in the Chicagoland area. I usually always order the plain cheese here and let's just say it is fantastic. Their veggie pizza is also amazing. Anytime I visit Chicago, I always have to order from Fox's at least once. The cheese sticks and tomato bread are amazing too. Their salads are also top notch if you are seeking to add a little bit of greens to your meal.
All their pasta dishes, dinner plates, and sandwiches I've tried have been excellent - you really cannot go wrong choosing anything on the menu. As for pasta, you can't get much better than their amazing Baked Mostaccioli. Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen. To this day, I have never ordered anything that wasn't totally delicious. As a bonus, they bring out a lot of extras like a bread basket and crackers. Dining in definitely has its' benefits.
Most recently, we visited for Friday night dinner. We were a large party of 5, but our waitress still did a good job of keeping up with everything. On every other visit, the service has always been nothing short of fantastic.
I love the fun and festive ambiance. I enjoyed the old time pizza joint vibe and colorful décor. They also frequently host live entertainment and dancing including step dancing and Irish bands for St. Patrick's Day. The entertainment was actually pretty decent on our most recent visit.
If you are out for the day in the Chicago suburbs, I recommend trying out Fox's thin crust pizza. You will not be disappointed. I also recommend dining in the restaurant on a weekend for the enjoyable live entertainment.
