Review Details

Little Pete's is a popular breakfast choice in the Fairmount Park area. This place is most well-known for their big breakfast menu, although they do also offer a rather large selection of sandwiches, salads, and burgers. This is a good casual dining choice before visiting nearby attractions like The Philadelphia Museum of art, the famous Rocky Statue, and The Rodin Museum.

Food

Little Pete's is a decent choice if you have a big party where no one can agree on a restaurant. They offer a bit of everything here, and thus, the varied menu should please all.

Little Pete's is most popular for their big all day breakfast menu. They offer more than a dozen unique omelet creations. Be sure to look into the breakfast special which includes coffee or juice. It's a great filling dish which will take you through the morning hours, so you can get on to the various museums and attractions without stopping for food.

While not the best choice for the health conscious, they do offer a number of filling salads. The Greek salad is a nice choice. Also, the spinach pie we tested was decent enough, although it was a bit cold like it had been sitting around too long. Other "healthier" fare includes various turkey & chicken hoagies and burgers/sandwiches.

Service

Service was not overly friendly, yet still attentive. The place was packed and bustling with people on a weekend morning, and the food still did not take very long.

Atmosphere

Little Pete's definitely has that local vibe and homestyle diner ambiance. The noise level is pretty high due to the heavy traffic, especially on the weekends. The tables could be spaced apart a bit more, however, the ambiance is attractively relaxed. Therefore, this is a great place to check out before walking around the city as there is no need to dress up or worry about reservations.

Final Words

Little Pete's is one of the only options for breakfast before visiting any nearby attractions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art. While they do not offer the highest quality food in town, the diverse & affordable menu should please everyone in your party.
