Papa's is the best place for a casual Italian meal in a family-friendly setting in Prescott. If you happen to be strolling around downtown Prescott for the day, it's a great choice for a low-key dinner. The great food and beautiful ambiance make it the perfect spot for a date or family gathering.
This family-owned gem has been serving the community for over 25 years. All food is homemade, and many special family recipes that have been passed down over the years can be found on the menu. Their marinara sauce is wonderful, and thus, the classic Pasta Marinara is highly recommended.
Their Chicken Alfredo, a family recipe passed down for generations, is also excellent. They give you a nice large baked chicken breast, as opposed to small little chunks you can barely taste, as is typically the case in many restaurants trying to be cheap.
Other specialties to try out include Papa's Baked Gnocchi, Papa's Meat Lasagna, and the Portabella Mushroom Stuffed Ravioli. Each entree comes with homemade soup or house salad and their delicious Tuscan Bread.
Overall, Papa's is a great value (especially in comparison to nearby dining options) as each entree is priced at just $10-15 and includes the above listed accompaniments. Update: As of 2025, pricing is now $16-20 an entree.
The service is great here. The waiters are attentive and professional.
The old world Tuscan decor, accompanied by classic Frank Sinatra tunes, give Papa's that charming old-fashioned Italian ambiance which you typically only find in the big cities.

This is a charming place which serves deliciosu food, so you can't go wrong.
