White Dog is a very popular modern American cafe with numerous Philly suburban locations. This is definitely the place to be for brunch in the Philly Main Line on a weekend morning. With unique decor, delicious food, and an attractive ambiance, there is no better place in the Main Line for brunch. I really love the Kennett Square Mushroom soup and the Mushroom Omelet.
It's best to visit for weekend brunch. It can get quite busy quick, and thus, reservations are recommended. Start with a cup of coffee and enjoy the complimentary petite cakes while you scan the menu.
I recommend starting with a delicious bowl of mushroom soup, Nearby Kennett Square is "the mushroom capital of the world," producing over 500 million pounds annually! This soup is a real winner! A bit pricey for the small serving, but worth the splurge!
For your entree, consider treating yourself to a savory mushroom omelette served with perfectly seasoned potatoes.
Note: The brunch menu is pretty small. Recent menu selections have included Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Ricotta Donut Fritters, Shrimp and Cheddar Grits, and Strawberry Shortcake French Toast. For those with special dietary concerns, gluten and dairy free options are conveniently marked.

The eclectic ambiance is the best part about visiting White Dog, and probably what led to the restaurant's immense popularity. The unusual dog theme is quite attractive, and just how they managed to make it elegant at the same time is quite a feat. Overall, White Dog offers the perfect upscale casual environment for family gatherings and weekend dates.
Book your reservation for weekend brunch at White Dog. The decadent cuisine, service, and decor make this the Main Line's most appealing brunch destination, by far. This is a great choice if are doing errands in the Main Line or visiting any of the wonderful preserves in the area.
