Review Details

This popular breakfast establishment in New Port Richey is a good pick prior to heading out to any of the beautiful preserves in the area like Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park or James E. Grey preserve. Breakfast is filling and affordable. You will find all the standard fare here. Overall, it's a decent choice to fuel up prior to exploring the great outdoors.

Food

The menu at Toast is pretty basic. All the usual breakfast favorites like omelets, French toast, waffles, and pancakes can be enjoyed. In addition they offer a number of daily specials and a "Skinny Eats" menu with healthier items like egg white based entrees and granola and yogurt.

The food is decent enough and quite affordable compared to similar options in the area. Try the Breakfast Burrito, one of the better options on their menu. We enjoyed this dish as well as a basic eggs over easy plate. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Their hash browns are excellent, not too soggy, nor overcooked. Best part of the meal for me personally.

Service

Service is good. The waiters are quick to offer refills and clear plates.

Atmosphere

The vibe is noisy and very busy most weekends. Not much in the décor department, although the space appears pretty clean. Typical diner style ambiance.

Final Words

Toast is a decent breakfast choice before exploring any Pasco County Nature Coast attractions. If you are seeking standard breakfast fare at an affordable price point, you should be satisfied with your experience at Toast.
