Review Details

Bouchon is one of the best places in Vegas for a beautiful brunch experience. This gem is an extraordinary French bistro located in The Venezia tower of The Venetian. The tasty menu of traditional French favorites, exemplary service, and a relaxing outdoor dining patio earn Bouchon a top spot amongst the best places for brunch on the Vegas strip. Bouchon is the concept of award-winning Chef, Thomas Keller. The menu changes seasonally, although they keep some favorites on the lineup all year round including: Steak Frites, Croque Madame, Roast Chicken, Pot de Creme, the Raw Bar, and Lemon Tart.

Food

Bouchon offers an enticing menu of indulgent French favorites like French Toast, Quiche, and plenty of tempting pastries. Fresh bread and butter are served to you while you are waiting for your delicious entree. Sometimes, they have a few samples of delicious French pastries out for your tasting while you are waiting for your seat.

If you have a sweet tooth, you must try out the Brioche French toast, topped with Blueberry compote, vanilla bean butter, and Crown maple syrup. It was absolutely delicious, as was the fluffy, moist Blueberry muffin which we ordered as a side.

The assortment of Bouchon pastries, which includes 4 French delicacies, is a great coffee accompaniment for anyone looking for a little morning treat rather than a full meal. You will get to enjoy a pain au chocolat, almond croissant, cheese danish, and a blueberry muffin for just $25.

The Quiche of the day, served with a spring salad, is the perfect option for anyone craving a more filling, protein rich meal. Together with a delicious side of lyonnaise potatoes, it was the perfect pre-half marathon morning breakfast to give me enough fuel for the race.

Other items on the breakfast/brunch menu include: oysters, mussels, lobster, Croque Madame, and Grilled Scottish Salmon with marinated vegetables and mixed greens. Looking around at other tables, the Patisserie Plate looked pretty delicious: this is definitely what I will order on my next visit!

Service

Service was fantastic, although pretty slow due to the intense weekend crowds from the Rock N'Roll Marathon. Our waiter gave us a 50% discount because he felt bad about the slow service since we were running the half later in the day. What a nice gesture! This alone would make me choose Bouchon for brunch on my next trip.

Atmosphere

The setting both indoors and out at Bouchon is busy, yet elegant. It's classy, yet casual at the same time. We chose to sit on the outdoor patio, which was a bit quieter and more relaxed. We enjoyed our brunch which came with nice views of The Venetian pool area.

The landscaping was very attractive and the soothing fountains made the experience even more relaxing. They had heat lamps going for the brisk fall morning, so it was perfectly comfortable for our meal despite the chilly temps (yes, it does get pretty chilly during the fall & winter season!).

Final Words

Overall, Bouchon provided just what we needed to start the day off right before the Rock N'Roll Half: the ideal balance of carbs and protein, with a little relaxation thrown in.

I would definitely recommend Bouchon as a fantastic brunch option for anyone not in a rush. Take your time and enjoy some great French food and drinks on the relaxing outdoor patio. A+ food, service, and setting make this Venetian gem more than a worthy choice for breakfast.

So, take some time away from the noisy Strip and enjoy a delicious, relaxed brunch at Bouchon: the perfect recovery meal after a long night in Vegas! I also recommend enjoying a pastry and coffee at Bouchon Cafe, also located at The Venetian. Sample treats include: macaroons, croissants, and chocolate chunk cookies.
