Before exploring Center City attractions, fuel up with a light breakfast and cup of coffee at Waterfront Gourmet cafe. With 4 convenient locations, it's easily accessible for tourists on the go. The Center City location is conveniently located just a short walk from Dilworth Park, and Love Park. Whenever I am on the go seeking something quick and casual, I stop by for a quick bagel or oatmeal.
The menu here consists mainly of light fare and quick options like pastries, bagels, oatmeal, and smoothies. I haven't tried anything from the lunch menu yet, but they do offer an enticing selection of paninis and , hoagies, and sandwiches. A number of tempting vegetarian specialities which I have to try one of these days. Additionally, they offer a tasty breakfast burrito, a breakfast sandwich, paninis, and filling salads for anyone seeking something a bit more hearty.
Waterfront offers a number of plant-based and gluten-free options, so it's a great choice for anyone following a specific diet. A few good vegetarian options include the Garden Veggie Bagel and a Mediterranean salad. Gluten-free diners can pick amongst a variety of fresh smoothies or a bowl of oatmeal topped with fresh berries.
They also serve espresso drinks and nitro cold brew.
This is a counter service establishment. It's never too busy, and thus, service is typically pretty quick. A great choice for anyone on the go.
There is not much seating here, however, there is a great view of City Hall. Take a seat, savor a cup of coffee, and enjoy the city vistas from the massive windows.
Stop by Waterfront cafe for a coffee and light bite before exploring the city. Because this cafe is so close to Dilworth Park, it's the perfect stop before a morning of ice skating.
