Marisol's Cafe is a Latin themed local coffee shop which serves coffee and light sandwiches in a casual atmosphere. Their iced coffee drinks are very popular.

Food

Marisol's is known for their traditional South American sandwiches. In addition, a variety of wraps, quesadillas, salads, and a small selection of breakfast entrees are available. Breakfast entrees include: Huevos Rancheros, a Portuguese fried egg sandwich, Cuban Sunrise Tortilla, and a Veggie Sausage Tortilla. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Best of all, they serve Jim's Organic coffee and tea from the highly respected Republic of Tea.

I ordered the veggie wrap which was a delicious combo of black beans, scallion-cilantro hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. This was a nice sized portion for under $6, although I would have liked if it came with a side of chips or a pickle. Other lunch entrees include selections like: Pulled Pork sandwich, Monterey Cheese Quesadilla, Tuna Salad wrap, Hummus wrap, A few of the people I was with really enjoyed the iced coffee beverages. They even offer an Iced Snickers Latte! They offer a lot of interesting smoothies as well including a Double Stuffed Oreo and a Bananas Foster. Update: As of 2025, most wraps are priced between $9-10 so this place is still pretty affordable.

Service

Service was just fine. We ordered at the counter: the woman was friendly and an employee brought out my sandwich to where we were sitting in less than 5 minutes.

Atmosphere

The interior has a nice Latin vibe going on with the bright decor. I liked that they had a couch available to sit and relax with friends during your meal, as opposed to sitting at a table. This place is eclectic and colorful and really stands out amongst the sea of bland chains populating most cities today.

Final Words

Mirasol's Cafe is a good choice for lunch or coffee in Dartmouth whether you want to relax with friends over a good cup of local coffee or enjoy a light healthy wrap for lunch.
