Flatbread and onion ring apps at Hard Rcok

Review Details

Hard Rock is always a fun dining option on vacation. Not only is the rock n' roll theme and decor awesome, but the food is actually fantastic! To top it off, the rock shop has the best souvenirs. The mac and cheese and tasty appetizers are really hard to top! Hard Rock is basically comfort food heaven. It's the perfect place to kick back after a long day of exploring downtown Atlanta attractions.

Food

Unlike some chains, the food at Hard Rock is actually good. The menu is diverse with choices for everyone. One of the best items to get started with is the Jumbo Appetizer. This huge app includes all your comfort favorites - onion rings, wings, chicken tenders, tomato bruschetta, and Southwest Spring Rolls (a Hard Rock specialty and the best item on the menu). These spring rolls are so fantastic that I usually order an extra serving!

Update: Sadly, Hard Rock no longer offers the Jumbo App or spring rolls! However, the flatbreads and nachos are also excellent.

Entrée choices include numerous American favorites like burgers, sandwiches, and salads, plus specialties like fajitas and Hard Rock's signature Twisted Mac and Cheese. Cavatappi pasta is topped with a 4 cheese sauce with just enough kick to make it interesting, yet not overly spicy. This dish is definitely the standout here! As a long time vegetarian, this is my go-to option.

The California Cobb salad is also pretty tasty and the serving is huge. They do not skimp on the chicken or veggies on this one!

If you have room leftover, treat yourself to one of their specialty milkshakes. Yes, they are loaded with calories and sugar, and yes they are still worth it! Try the Hot Fudge mini milkshake which includes vanilla bean Madagascar ice cream, topped with dark chocolate sauce, coconut, white chocolate whip cream, and fresh strawberries. I've only tried one once as I am super health conscious and not that into sweets, but for any sweet lover out there, it's worth the splurge!

Service

Service at Hard Rock is always great. The servers are personable and willing to help with any meal recommendations. The staff did a great job customizing a few dishes for us. I've never had a problem with any Hard Rock making vegetarian substitutions.

Atmosphere

The ambiance at every Hard Rock is a little different, so you can always look forward to something new at each individual Hard Rock location.

The Atlanta downtown location features a spacious layout with fun memorabilia lining the walls. The rock soundtrack makes the meal even more enjoyable. And be sure to stop by the Rock Shop for a few fun souvenirs or simply a browse around!

Final Words

If you are looking for a fun themed restaurant where you can enjoy some comfort foods and tasty appetizers in downtown Atlanta, look no further than Hard Rock. Conveniently, this Hard Rock is located within walking distance to many of the city's top attractions like Centennial Park and the World of Coca-Cola.
