King's Palace

Review Details

King's Palace is your best bet in the Marlton region for authentic Chinese food. Not only is the food great, but the service, presentation, and ambiance all make it worthy of a dinner out rather than just takeout.

Food

King's Palace offers your typical Chinese restaurant menu. I recommend starting with a few delicious spring rolls and a cup of soup. Both the egg drop and the hot and sour are wonderful.

As far as entrees go, we went with the Veggie Fried Rice and Lo Mein. Both tasted wonderful and were affordably priced. I always judge fried rice on whether or not I need to add extra soy sauce. The rice here is fortunately flavorful enough where extra soy is not necessary!

Additionally, King's Place offers a number of fantastic lunch and dinner combination platters.

Service

Service here was wonderful. Our waitress was so friendly and professional. Appetizers and meals were nicely spaced apart and the delicious tea refills kept coming.

Atmosphere

Despite being located in a Strip mall, the dining room here is pretty nice. It's not all that bad a place to enjoy a nice dinner out. The dinnerware is beautiful and I always give bonus points to Chinese restaurants that offer complimentary tea. I always prefer to eat out vs takeout if the ambiance is pleasant enough.

Final Words

I would definitely visit King's Palace again in the future. The fried rice here alone would definitely bring me back. The attractive ambiance and great service make this a lovely place to dine out, rather than simply a place to pick up take out.
