Review Details

When visiting Naples, dinner at Mediterrano needs to be high up on your list of things to do. This local gem serves exquisite food in the most beautiful setting. They offer one of the best patio dining experiences in the state, and for this reason alone, it's definitely a Florida Gulf Coast bucket list contender. Definitely give it a try if you are visiting Naples and seeking a fantastic dinner date destination!

Food

The menu is Mediterranean based with a focus on the coastal cuisine of Greece, Italy, Spain, and Morocco. Your meal starts off with complimentary warm pita bread served with a delicious trio of dipping sauces. As far as appetizers go, the Flaming Cheese Saganaki is always a wonderful choice.

As far as entrees go, the most delicious choice here is the Vegetarian Delight. This amazing dish includes a baked tomato stuffed with couscous, sautéed spinach with garlic white wine, dolmeh, and seasonal vegetables. It's healthy, filling, bursting with flavor, and totally worth the high price tag. Being a vegetarian for over 30 years and dining at many restaurants across the US, I can say this is one of the better dishes I've tried. They also offer a Vegan Paella and a Spinach Artichoke pasta, so plenty of options for those following a plant based diet.

The Chicken Francese is another winner. Free range chicken breast egg washed, is served with extra virgin olive oil, white wine, lemon juice, and capers. Served with parmesan risotto and vegetables.

The wine list is quite extensive.

Service

Service is super professional and attentive. This is by far the best service I have received to date anywhere on Florida's Gulf coast.

Atmosphere

While the indoor dining area is gorgeous with beautiful attention to detail, the patio is even more amazing. In fact, it was even rated as one of the 100 best al fresco dining experience in America on Open Table several times.

The colorful flowers everywhere add a bright, refreshing touch. The setting is so elegant and beautiful, definitely the perfect place in town to take a date or celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion.

Final Words

Mediterrano is not a cheap dining experience. Be prepared to splurge a bit. Fortunately, the great service, wonderful food, and gorgeous one-of-a-kind ambiance makes this a great dining choice to splurge on a fancy date night or celebratory event.
