There are dozens of restaurant choices within close proximity to Clearwater Beach. It can be hard to decide amongst the many touristy options in the area. Ryan's Island Café is a casual establishment located within walking distance of the beach. They offer a great mix of standard fare and modern specialties. Stop by for an affordable meal before a day of fun-in-the-sun.
Ryan's offers a small, yet adequate menu of breakfast fare. Traditional options like omelets, Eggs Benedict, and French toast, along with modern favorites like avocado toast, yogurt parfait, and a breakfast quesadilla, means there are plenty of enticing options for everyone.
The Vegetarian Hash Browns is a tasty choice. This savory dish includes a huge plate of hash browns mixed with sautéed peppers, onions, mushrooms, and spinach, and topped with a Cajun seasoning. It's quite delicious and also very affordable. I appreciated being able to choose amongst a few veggie options.
The make your own omelet is another great selection. The omelets are huge and served with a decent portion of hash browns and toast.
Their coffee is also really delicious, so no need to stop anywhere else! Fortunately, it's bottomless so you can relax and enjoy a few cups on the house in a nice tropical themed dining room.
Service is so-so. Not really personable, but efficient and attentive enough to get the job done.
The ambiance is charming with colorful beach style decor. Very fitting for the area. The setting is very casual so you can come in pre-beach in your shorts and flip flops.
Ryan's is a great breakfast choice located near Clearwater Beach. Considering the above average food quality and affordable pricing, it is one of the better places to enjoy breakfast near the beach. In a sea of overpriced tourist traps, this one stands out above the rest.
