Grand Lux Cafe is a great choice for anyone seeking comfort food after a long day walking around the Strip. This chain features an elegant, yet casual vibe, and was started by the founders of The Cheesecake Factory. The first location opened at the Venetian, and today you can find locations throughout the country. The fun ambiance, eclectic menu, and beautiful design make it a good choice for a laid-back night out on The Strip. Oh, and the best part of all - it's open 24 hours!
The food at Grand Lux cafe is so good. If you are a fan of The Cheesecake Factory, then you definitely need to check Grand Lux while in Vegas. The food is even better, yet you still get the gigantic portions.
There are so many tempting appetizers on the menu. A few of these include: spinach cheese dip, fried pickles, avocado wontons, fried cheese & zucchini, and white cheddar and jalapeno cornbread. I highly recommend the Double Stuffed Potato Spring Rolls, which are basically mashed potato stuffed into a spring roll and topped with sour cream, cheese, smoked bacon, and green onion. What a treat: I've never had anything like them before! Other tempting selections include fried calamari, spinach artichoke dip, and chicken lettuce wraps.
In terms of entrees, the choices really are endless just like The Cheesecake Factory. Choose from a healthy veggie filled salad, a wide range of specialty pizzas and pastas, deluxe burgers and sandwiches, steaks and seafoods. They also offer a weekend brunch menu, with options ranging from Caramel Banana Pancakes to a Fresh Garden Omelet. And if you have room, you can top off the meal with a delicious dessert like molten chocolate cake, red velvet cake, or a brownie sundae. And yes, they still have a few cheesecake selections (not the enormous menu of The Cheesecake Factory though). I would love to try the Godiva Dark chocolate some time.
Grand Lux is one of those great general restaurants which can work in basically any situation. Whether you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, take a date out to a nice restaurant, or just enjoy a few late night snacks after a long night out on The Strip, the upscale casual setting will work in any situation.
Service here is fantastic. Waiters are friendly and efficient. Drinks are always refilled, plates cleared right away, and the food served hot and fresh.
The setting is refined, yet still casual, so it can work as either a fancy or casual night out, depending on what you are looking for. Grand Lux has that upscale casual feeling of The Cheesecake Factory. The space is beautifully decorated and spacious. The food is surprisingly cheap considering the elegant surroundings.
There is also a nice patio seating area where you can overlook all the casino action. This is the perfect spot to enjoy some great comfort food and leisurely people watching.
Grand Lux Cafe is a good choice for anyone visiting Vegas seeking some fun comfort fare. It's affordable, open 24 hours, luxurious without feeling stuffy, and features an eclectic menu. What else could you ask for a fabulous Las Vegas dining experience? Definitely do not leave without trying the delicious double stuffed potato rolls!
