This San Diego originated chain has grown to include multiple locations in touristy metros like Vegas and Orlando. They serve the most delicious hashes which are loaded with all sorts of toppings. The Orlando location is conveniently located near International Drive, so you can stop by for a great breakfast before checking out any of the quirky attractions in this area.
They feature a Midwestern inspired menu of what they call "twisted farm food." This trendy restaurant is most well known for their Fried Chicken and Waffles, along with their Hashes, which include 2 eggs, crispy potatoes, fruit, and a homemade biscuit served in a cast iron skillet.
Try the healthier Veggie hash which includes mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and artichoke hearts. It's delicious and really filling. I would definitely order it again. Be prepared for a massive serving - leftovers are certain!
They also offer a number of specialty sweet creations. If you are craving something sweet and delicious, try the Churro or Blueberry Lemon Glaze waffle.
Service is attentive, although not overly friendly.
The setting is a bit bland with not much in the decor department. Also, it appears that the restaurant could use a good cleaning!
Overall, Hash House is one of the better breakfast/brunch destinations near International Drive. This is a great pick on one of your theme park off days. Big servings plus affordable pricing equals a great start to the day in a touristy destination like Orlando. I recommend treating yourself to the "healthier" Veggie hash.
