Michi Ramen is your best choice for high quality ramen bowls in the Tampa Bay area. Tucked away in a quiet strip mall in New Tampa, dining here is always a pleasant low-key experience. While living in a nearby apartment complex, I stopped by for a delicious veggie ramen bowl at least once or twice a month during the cooler months.
Michi offers a choice of several ramen bowls including a wonderful soy based vegetarian option. This tasty bowl uses veggie broth and soy milk as a base, leading to a rich consistency which mimics the traditional meat based broths.
Wavy flat flour noodles, egg, seaweed, tofu, avocado, zucchini, tomatoes, and mushrooms, add an extra punch of healthy vitamins and minerals. This bowl is the perfect comforting choice when you need to get your diet back on a healthy note! I really love the ramen here: it's the best veggie version I've tasted thus far.
Michi also offers a great selection of appetizers. From edamame, to curry fish balls, to gyoza, there is a choice for everyone. Do consider the delicious veggie gyoza. If you are up for dessert, treat yourself to the Green tea mochi.
Service is always great. The staff is always so nice. The presentation is great too. The food looks just as good as it tastes!
The ambiance here is beautiful, very clean and modern. The music is great and never too loud. It's the perfect place for a lunch date in the New Tampa region!
Overall, Michi is a great lunch choice if you like ramen. If you have never tried it before, this is a great place to start your journey. If you are shopping or exploring attractions like Flatwoods Park in the New Tampa region, definitely give Michi a chance for lunch.
