The Island Vista Resort in Myrtle Beach is home to a great restaurant overlooking the gorgeous Atlantic coast. Enjoy a great hearty breakfast or sophisticated dinner while taking in terrific views, courtesy of the floor-to-ceiling windows. Even if you are not a guest at the resort, you can enjoy a delicious dining experience in a really scenic setting.
Breakfast includes an assortment of appetizing combinations, including: omelets, egg combinations, and pancakes. The breakfast specials offer a hearty combination of breakfast favorites at an affordable price. Early Bird specials area available for the following entrees: Sweet Potato Pancakes, a basic 2 eggs plate, house made granola and yogurt, and huevos rancheros.
The 2 eggs, potatoes (or Grits), toast (or English muffin), and meat (sausage, bacon, or ham) combo was a fantastic deal! Food tasted wonderful and was presented with a sophisticated touch. If you have a sweet tooth, you may want to indulge in the Sweet Potato Pancakes.
The dinner menu includes a variety of Land and Sea based entrees, as well as a selection of salads and pastas. Vegetarian and gluten-free selections are marked on the menu. Recent vegetarian selections have included Vegetarian Flatbread and a Veggie Primavera pasta.
Service was professional and courteous. Breakfast came out in less than 10 minutes.
The dining room is clean and elegant with gorgeous beach views via the massive windows. What better way to enjoy breakfast on your vacation than gazing into the Atlantic Ocean? If you get here early enough, you may even be able to take in a lovely sunrise.
The views alone make The Cypress Room worthy of a visit. Add in great breakfast favorites at reasonable prices, and you have yourself a real winner! A great choice before or after visiting the beautiful beaches.
