Review Details

After a full morning out exploring Zion's gorgeous trails, you will probably be more than ready to refuel with some hefty carbs. A great choice in downtown Springdale is Zion Pizza and Noodle Company. Who can say no to a hearty plate of pasta or a delicious pizza after all that exercise?

Food

The menu at Zion Pizza is very carb heavy (perfect post-hike) with a variety of unique themed pizzas, pasta dishes, calzones, and strombolis. The pricing is a bit high, although that is to be expected in any touristy location.

I recommend the Tree Hugger Pizza, a creative pie consisting of marinara sauce, very light mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, red onions, tomatoes, carrots, and sesame seeds. Wow, now that's a lot of toppings! Featuring light cheese and plenty of veggies, it's the perfect vegetarian option. And so filling with all those fibrous veggies!

Don't worry, there are plenty of carnivore friendly options too including a Hot and Spicy Southwestern Burrito, a BBQ Chicken, and a Bacon & Sausage Loaded Cholesterol Hiker pizza.

The addition of a few basic pasta dishes and a few specialty dishes like Chicken Parmesan and Veggie Lasagna, along with calzones and strombolis, should give everyone plenty of tempting options to choose amongst.

Service

Service was good for what little was provided. At Zion Pizza, you will order at the counter and wait for the waiter to bring out your food. The food came out very quickly - 2 pizzas in 10-15 minutes tops.

Atmosphere

The setting here is very casual with a nice patio facing the gorgeous rock formations. A bit chilly during the winter season, although they have heaters, plus you can take advantage of the relaxing, scenic setting minus the crowds.

Final Words

Overall, Zion Pizza & Noodle Company, although a tad overpriced, is a good choice for hikers looking for a filling meal to satisfy their hunger after many exhausting hours of exploring the natural beauty of Zion.

Nice views, a casual setting, and decent comfort food, makes Zion Pizza a great choice post-hike.
