PA Historical Sights & Iconic Museums

Old City in Philadelphia is considered the birthplace of America. There are numerous historical tours here including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. I love the gorgeous architecture. Both Philly and Pittsburgh are home to some awesome museum including the Philadelphia Museum of art and the world-class Carnegie Institutions in Pittsburgh. If you love pop art like me, you will also want to check out The Warhol dedicated to the pop art legend.

PA Nature, Sightseeing, & Incredible Cityscapes

There is a lot of gorgeous nature in the state even within an easy drive of the 2 major cities. In my opinion, the Pittsburgh skyline is easily tied with Chicago for the best in the country. A historic incline ride takes you up to one of the most scenic viewpoints in the country. Both cities are home to wonderful botanical gardens which are perfect escapes during the long cold winter season. Outside of the cities, I love leaf peeping at McConnells MIll and hiking at Tyler State Park.

Philadelphia

Philadelphia is a history buff's dream destination. Here you can tour the building where the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution were signed, see the crack in the Liberty Bell, and see George Washington's tent at the Museum of the American Revolution. I also love the museums, the seasonal festivities, and the amazing food scene.

Pittsburgh

"The Steel City" is an underrated vacation destination. With the country's most beautiful skyline, a lively sports scene, several amazing museums, plenty of historical attractions, and many beautiful parks, there is something for everyone. I love the bridge & skyline scenery, the laid-back vibe, the many diverse neighborhoods, & the wonderful museum scene.
