The Pasta House in Fairhaven, Massachusetts: Great Small Town Italian

Update: This restaurant underwent rebranding as Bocca in October of 2022. The restaurant has been remodeled with new contemporary touches. With the new sleek design, Bocca would be the perfect place to take a date.
Mike and I both love Italian food, so we were eager to try out The Pasta House in Fairhaven, Massachusetts after hearing only great things about the food and atmosphere. Visiting on a Saturday night, we expecting the restaurant to be busy, but this place was really packed! Luckily, we got a seat without a wait.
The ambiance is nice and romantic, so perfect for date night. There is a large stone fireplace and a nice bar area. Servers are professional, food is presented elegantly, and the restaurant looks modern and clean.
Delicious & local Italian cuisine
The menu features traditional pasta favorites, pasta specialties, seafood, pizza, and meat dishes. The prices vary depending on what you are ordering. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and Butternut Squash Ravioli. Both dishes were fantastic and appropriately priced, in my opinion. Food is served with a salad or soup and unlimited bread and olive oil. An extensive drink menu is also available. They also offer a pretty large gluten free menu (including pasta choices), which is great for those with Celiac’s Disease or those avoiding wheat/gluten in their diet.
The Pasta House is a great option for locals of Southeastern Massachusetts and also those vacationing/doing business in the area. The food, service, and atmosphere were all satisfying at this local Italian restaurant.
Tip: visit during lunch hours for reduced price entrees!
