Mama Cimino’s is a popular local Italian restaurant in Dixon, Illinois. They are particularly famous for their enormous 24 inch “Hurricane Pizza.” I have tried their pizza dozens of times; it’s fantastic, especially for a small town! Everytime Mike and I come back to Dixon, we enjoy some local pizza.
Last night, I decided to dine in and try out one of their entrees. I ordered their Baked Mostaccioli, a traditional Italian entree consisting of noodles, marina, and mozzarella cheese. The dinner included a side salad and a bread-stick. I also ordered a side of delicious cheesy garlic bread.

The atmosphere is pretty casual, making Mama Cimino’s perfect for an informal evening out. The vibe is family friendly and laid-back.

If you are interested in buffets, you are in luck as Mama Cimino’s offers a lunch buffet 6 days a week. Several other specialty buffets are held throughout the week.
