Dino's is one of your best bets for quality Italian food in Montgomery County. While the Philly suburbs are not exactly hotbeds for Italian cuisine, there are a few gems to be found here and there. Dino's is one of these great local Italian establishments. They offer a great mix of traditional Italian fare plus a few Philly specialities. This was one of the first restaurants I tried out after moving to the Philly suburbs, and I was impressed with the food and service.
Dino's serves a rather large menu of classic Italian favorites. They basically offer every popular Italian dish you could possibly think of. The pizza here is delicious and affordable. Their pasta dishes are also noteworthy. They are known for their Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Primavera, Fettuccine Alfredo, Maryland Crab Ravioli, Shrimp Scampi, and Seafood Pescatore. The appetizer selection is pretty tempting as well, with the garlic knots and fried zucchini being absolute must trys. They offer a number of Philly specialities which include a Philly Cheesesteaks and Cheesesteak garlic bread.
Of particular interest are the seasonal specials, particularly the wonderful autumn Butternut Squash ravioli. On their website, you can find an updated list of current specials.
Unfortunately, take-out here has been a disappointment. The food always seems cold and just doesn't taste as good. I recommend dining inside at this one, both for the higher quality food and service.
Waiters are friendly enough. This place has that local charm missing in most establishments today. It appear that they receive a lot of repeat business from locals.
Dino's is more popular for take-out, however, they do have a small dining area. The vibe is very casual, thus making this a great choice for families or casual date night. The space appears clean and well-maintained. I definitely recommend trying their pizza and don't leave without treating yourself to a few tasty garlic knots!
Dino's is a great Montgomery County choice for an authentic Italian dining experience. If you are seeking a tasty home-cooked Italian dinner, combined with great service, Dino's is sure to please.
