Mamma Mia’s Restaurant is a great, family-run Italian restaurant with several locations throughout southeast Massachusetts, including one in Carver. This place is really great – the vibe is casual, it’s affordable and family friendly. It’s the perfect Italian restaurant, whether you are seeking a family meetup or a casual date destination. Mike and I headed over here for dinner with a few family members, who were in town for the week. Everyone in our party loved the food. I recommend the Pasta Primavera, a delicious combo of pasta and vegetables in a creamy garlic sauce.

Mike really enjoyed his chicken, Alfredo, and broccoli pizza. The baked ziti and lasagna were also good according to several family members.
The portions are enormous. We ordered a brownie ice cream dessert, which was large enough for 6 people to split! Take a look at the size of this ice cream treat! Probably not very healthy, but delicious nonetheless!

Everyone had plenty of leftovers to take home. The dining room is a bit small, but other than that it was a great experience, complete with friendly service, good food, and affordable prices. I am eager to try out the Plymouth location, which offers waterfront al fresco dining!
