Palms Place: Affordable Las Vegas Luxury Far Away from the Craziness of The Strip

Palms Place is one of my favorite budget friendly luxury resorts in Las Vegas. It’s off The Strip but offers enough amenities to justify a stay. This new-ish addition to the luxury resort scene (it opened in 2008) offers a classy, elegant ambiance without being as uber expensive as the 5 star resorts on the Strip. It’s quite a unique property as the building consists of both residential and hotel units.
Purchasing one of the beautiful condo units would be the ideal vacation home as it is located far enough from all the commotion but still offers that Vegas vibe. The fully furnished luxury units feature marble bathrooms with whirlpool tubs, plasma TVs, a sofa sleeper, stainless steel appliances, and a full kitchen. The best part of all is that residents get to take advantage of hotel amenities like housekeeping, room service, and 24 hour valet service – now that’s a vacation! You also get access to the beautiful spa and fitness center.
If I had the money, I would definitely consider buying a property here. The space is so beautiful and clean, the amenities are great, and you can still get to the Strip when you want to be a part of the crazy action. While we can all dream, Palms Place is also a decent budget friendly lodging option. This posh & affordable resort is one of my favorite places to stay. If you don’t mind staying away from all the commotion, definitely give it a try.
A low-key gem!
Because this property offers a more relaxed, laid-back vibe, it’s the perfect resort option for couples seeking a low-key romantic getaway. With a classy, modern look, a beautiful spa, a non gaming environment, and a quiet atmosphere, the resort is just perfect for any type of quiet getaway. I loved the serene vibe and elegant amenities.
The rooms are clean and contemporary and include hardwood and marble flooring, a plasma television, rainfall shower heads, whirlpool tubs (some units), and amazing views of the city. Everything is spacious, clean, and modern, with an appealing simplistic vibe.

I loved our view!

Featuring one of the best spas in Vegas
One of the highlights of staying here is booking a spa package at the beautiful Drift Spa. This spa is by far one of the best I’ve ever been to. Amenities include a sauna, steam room, hot & cold soaking pools, and access to the only traditional Turkish Co-ed Hammam. The vibe here is very serene and relaxing – it’s impossible not to let your cares completely drift away while spending a few hours in this peaceful oasis.

For the ultimate in spa luxury, I recommend the 90 minute hot stone massage – it’s one of the best treatments I’ve ever had anywhere. They also offer many seasonal specialties include a delicious Caramel Apple Massage during the fall. The spa is surprisingly affordable for a touristy city, and there are enough fantastic special deals to keep you busy with an all day pampering treat. If you are going to be spending a large portion of your vacation walking around (I usually put in at least 10 miles), you will definitely want to recover with a rejuvenating, pampering day at The Spa.
Update: Drift has been renamed The Spa and Salon at Palms.
Other amenities at this resort include: the Bodyheat Tanning salon, an outdoor pool and hot tub, Rojo Lounge, complimentary shuttle service to Caesars Palace, and shuttle service to the airport with an additional fee.
For spa pricing and specials, as well as a guide to current amenities please take a look at the resort’s website.
Walkway to The Palms
I find this resort so relaxing especially with the absence of a noisy casino. However, if you are looking for a bit of action, simply take the convenient walkway to The Palms, which offers all the traditional casino amenities.
Besides gaming, you will find a top rated nightclub with fabulous views of The Strip known as Ghost Bar (if you watched The Real World Las Vegas – you know this one!) and a handful of amazing restaurants.
Two restaurants we really loved were: Nove Italian and The China House. The China House is a fancy Chinese restaurant offering a diverse menu, top notch service, and an elegant atmosphere.

Nove Italian has been rated the best Italian restaurant in the city, and I can attest that the food, service, and wonderful views did not disappoint! This upscale Italian eatery features a front row view of the dazzling city lights as well as extra fancy touches such as LED Swarovski Chandeliers. Update: This gem is unfortunately closed. However, you can now visit Vetri Cucina, a new highly rated Italian restaurant which offers the same spectacular view!

In terms of entrees, we really enjoyed our Fettuccine Shrimp Scampi and the Lobster Mezzaluna. They even threw in a little complimentary dessert plate for my birthday. It was a nice gesture, not to mention absolutely delicious!

New dining options
Current options as of 2026 include:
- Scotch 80 Prime – A top rated steakhouse
- Tim Ho Wan – Dim Sum hotspot
- Vetri Cucina – Italian restaurant located on the 56th floor features amazing views!
- Send Noodles – Casual Asian dining.
- A.Y.C.E. – All-you-can-eat buffet with 100+ dishes.
Update: Unfortunately, Vetri is also closed now. I wonder what will replace this one? The view is so great, let’s hope it is something fantastic.
The perfect choice for anyone seeking relaxation
Overall, I would say this is a good lodging choice for anyone looking for something a bit more relaxing. Staying here is a relaxing little escape: a rare thing to come by in this 24/7 entertainment playground. This quiet resort is a wonderful quiet refuge in a 24/7 city. And whenever you want a little bit of the The Strip action, it’s just a quick shuttle ride away. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 8am to 11pm. Check out my post for more relaxing things to do amongst all the craziness.
