Bouchon entry at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada

If you are looking for a relaxing restaurant with fantastic French inspired cuisine, exquisite service, and a beautiful setting, look no further than Bouchon: a wonderful little French cafe located in the Venezia tower of the gorgeous Italian themed Venetian Casino Resort. Chef Thomas Keller was named “America’s Best Chef” in 2001 by Time Magazine. One of Keller’s restaurants, The French Laundry in Yountville, was amongst the recipients of “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants” award by British Magazine Restaurant.

2014 marked the 10 year anniversary of this fantastic establishment. Other locations can be found in  Yountville and Beverly Hills, California, as well in New York City.

The cuisine at Bouchon is inspired by Keller’s travels through France. Although the menu changes with the seasons, a few favorites like Croque Madam, Pot de Creme, Roast Chicken, and Lemon Tart remain. The raw bar is also renowned.

The casual, yet classy setting, relaxing outdoor seating, and tempting menu of French favorites, including delicious pastries and breakfast dishes, make Bouchon the best place on The Strip for a laid-back brunch. Not surprisingly, Bouchon has been the recipient of many awards including Best Breakfast Spot by Las Vegas Life Magazine and 50 Must-Eat Las Vegas Meals by the Las Vegas Sun.

Delicious Brunch Selections

The brunch menu is so tempting, it is quite difficult to choose just one item. The assortment of Bouchon pastries and spiced donuts with homemade jam are ideal starters for anyone with a sweet tooth. And don’t miss out on the complimentary treats put out by the hostess stand while waiting for your table (delicious almond tea cakes were served during our visit)!

We were served a crispy baguette, which was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, while waiting for our meals. This bread, when topped with fresh butter or jam, is so delicious that you might just decide to purchase a loaf to take home with you!

The fluffy Blueberry muffin is a delicious side that you must try out. Take a look below at this fluffy and moist treat!

The Brioche French Toast topped with Blueberry Compote, and served with vanilla bean butter and Crown Maple Syrup is the ultimate treat. Sure it is loaded with sugar, however, you are on vacation and a little indulgence never hurt anyone!

Even better than the French Toast was the amazing Quiche du Jour, served with a spring salad. The Quiche of the day happened to be my favorite, delicious Quiche Lorraine. A side of Lyonnaise potatoes was the perfect compliment to get in a bit of carbs before the race!

The perfect setting for a leisurely date

The wait was very long as Bouchon, which was not surprising as Bouchon is one of the most popular Vegas restaurants, not to mention the extra crowds in town for the Rock N’Roll Marathons (I highly recommend the Rock N’Roll Half to anyone looking for a fun, themed race. Almost the entire 13 miles are run right on the Strip – when will you get another opportunity to run The Strip while it is closed to all traffic?!).

We did not mind the wait as were were in no hurry and gladly took the much needed time to relax before embarking on a 13 mile run later that day. The wait was well worth it as all the food was absolutely delicious!

Both the service and food presentation are exceptional at Bouchon. Aside from the wonderful food and service, the real highlight of dining at Bouchon is taking the time to unwind and enjoy a few treats on the pretty outdoor terrace, a beautifully landscaped space by the Venetian pool with fountains and lush trees. Dining at Bouchon makes for the ideal recovery breakfast after a long, noisy night on The Strip. Here you can relax and take your time, far away from the congestion.

The gorgeous Venetian ceiling art

And since you have to stroll through the beautiful Venetian to get to Bouchon, you will get the added bonus of taking in the gorgeous architecture and colorful ceilings (inspired by Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel).

Romantic gondola rides

And while you are at, why not take a romantic gondola ride? The gondola rides start in the Grand Canal Shoppes area of the resort, which is beautifully decorated for the holidays.
