Review Details

The charming Main Street of Brevard, North Carolina is lined with a number of local restaurants. If you are craving comfort food, you cannot go wrong with tasty tacos and burritos at Quixote. The upbeat ambiance and beautiful patio only add to the enjoyment. This is a great choice in town for a date or nice night out with friends. I enjoyed the food, ambiance, and great service.

Food

Quixote serves standard Tex-Mex fare, plus a few house specialties. Definitely start with the homemade tortilla chips, served with verde and roja salsa. This was my favorite part of the meal.

One interesting selection here is the Rajas Con Queso featuring sliced poblano peppers cooked with cream cheese and onions, and served alongside rice. The portion is pretty small, yet totally delicious and unique.

There are a number of interesting house selections on the lineup. Unfortunately, few entrees (besides the Rajas Con Queso listed above) are vegetarian.

The Hot Stone Bowl Hot featuring mushrooms, tomato salsa, spinach, broccoli, squash, onion, zucchini, and peppers, topped with cheese and served with tortillas, is a healthy choice for anyone trying to eat less meat.

Service

Service at Quixote is definitely a highlight. Waiters are professional and accommodating. This is my favorite night night option in Brevard, both for the nice ambiance and top notch service.

Atmosphere

The decor is very pleasing and unique. There is a lot going on and the space is well decorated, clean, and modern. Overall, Quixote is a great place for a date or dinner with friends.

Final Words

Give Quixote a chance if you like Tex-Mex food. Out of all the dining choices on Main Street, this local gem is definitely one of the better options out of the bunch. As a bonus, they stay open later than most other restaurants and are also open on Sunday. Note that this restaurant is closed on Monday.
