2. Decide which TV shows make it on the air at CBS Television City Research Center

Located inside the MGM, The CBS Television Research Center offers you the opportunity to help decide which TV shows will make it on the air, with free screenings of pilots for new TV shows.
A screening is about 20 minutes, followed by a 15 minute survey. After the screening, you will fill out a survey on your thoughts about the program. It's cool to know that you had a hand in deciding if that particular show made it on the air! You will receive a booklet with various discounts off MGM Resort restaurants & shops.

3. See the Mac King Comedy Show

There are all sorts of fantastic shows to see in Vegas, from top end magic shows like David Copperfield, to exciting musical performances from big name artists, to the popular Cirque du Soleil shows.
One of the best options combines a bit of comedy with a bit of magic, along with some audience interaction. The Mac King Comedy Show, running daily at Harrah's, is one of the most entertaining shows in all of Vegas, plus it's totally affordable too!

4. Take a ride down a shark water slide at the Golden Nugget

One of the most unique attractions in Las Vegas is the 3 story Shark Chute at the Golden Nugget's pool. As you make your way down, you will be going right through a shark tank! You must plan on staying at the Golden Nugget for access to what has been rated one of the world's most unique pools, however, non hotel guests can still take a look at the shark tank.

5. Watch the Volcano Eruption show at the Mirage

The 6 minute Viva Vision Light Show is a spectacular, free show held every night on Fremont Street. The exhilarating show features fun music and special effects across a gigantic 1500 foot wide screen with over 12 million LED lights!
Right before the show, all of the casino lights go dark and thousands of people crowd the streets to watch all the excitement. For an even more thrilling experience, you can ride a zip-line right under the lights!

10. Walk around The Strip
