One of the most unique attractions in Las Vegas is the 3 story Shark Chute at the Golden Nugget's pool. As you make your way down, you will be sliding right through a shark tank! You must plan on staying at the Golden Nugget for access to what has been rated one of "the world's most unique pools," however, non hotel guests can still take a look at the unique shark tank.
While you may not ever make it to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, you can take the opportunity to visit the half size replica in Vegas. The 541 foot architectural masterpiece is one of The Strip's most iconic sights. And rather than merely gazing at the statue from The Strip, you can actually travel 46 stories up to the top and take in the scenery below! With panoramic views of the entire Strip, you really cannot afford to miss out on this one! Visit at night for the best experience and consider a wonderful meal at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant.

Located inside the MGM, The CBS Television Research Center offers you the opportunity to help decide which TV shows will make it on the air, with free screenings of pilots for new TV shows.
A screening is about 20 minutes, followed by a 15 minute survey. After the screening, you will fill out a survey regarding your thoughts about the program. It's cool to know that you had a hand in deciding if a particular show made it on the air! For your time, you will receive a booklet with various discounts off MGM Resort restaurants & shops.

Tropicana was rated as one of the best hotel pools by the Travel Channel, although you must be a hotel guest to use the pools. Lush tropical landscaping, waterfalls, a pool bar, and several hot tubs make this pool area an ideal getaway!

The 6 minute Viva Vision Light Show is a spectacular, free show held every night on Fremont Street. The exhilarating show features fun music and special effects across a gigantic 1500 foot wide screen with over 12 million LED lights!
Right before the show, all of the casino lights go dark and thousands of people crowd the streets to take part in all the excitement. For an even more thrilling experience, you can ride a zip-line right under the lights!
Despite all the shows, attractions, dining, & entertainment, the best thing of all to do in Vegas (especially for first time visitors) is to simply walk around The Strip! Check out all the dazzling lights and beautiful architecture. Walk around the inside of all the casinos and check out all their unique attributes. And for the best free view in Vegas, just walk up the stairs near Planet Hollywood and enjoy all the sights and sounds at no cost!
