Weekend brunch is definitely the time to plan your visit to Parc. First off, it's much easier to get a reservation quick. Second, the menu is priced much more affordably. Dinner really is not the best value here, whereas brunch is actually a pretty decent value given the affordably priced entrees combined with the beautiful ambiance.
Brunch features a number of interesting choices. Consider starting your table off with a basket of fresh pastries. The enticing selection includes croissants, brioche, and madeleine.
The Vol-Au-Vent is a wonderful dish consisting of scrambled eggs, steamed asparagus, and a French puff pastry. It's a very filling dish, so only order if you are up for a lot of eggs.
Basically there is a bit of something for everyone on the menu, from sweet buttermilk pancakes, to a savory quiche.
The bottomless coffee here is excellent, although the espresso drinks are a bit on the bitter side. Enjoy a few cups of great coffee while gazing out upon the pretty park. This alone warrants a visit to Parc!
Service
Service is the one area Parc does not excel in. Waiters are very inconsistent, not very friendly, and at times nowhere to be found. Drinks are never refilled, no one checks back on you, and the staff in general does not seem to care much whether or not you have a great dining experience. Sadly, the pricing at this restaurant is way too high to justify such poor service.
Atmosphere
Parc's dining space is huge, and yet still always bustling with people. And, it's not just weekends - this place is busy nearly every day! The space is beautifully decorated and features large windows where you can take in lovely views of the park.
During the warmer spring and summer months, you will want to reserve your spot on the beautiful patio. Parc offers the top al fresco dining experience in the city.
