The summer season in the 'Burgh is a great time to enjoy brunch or lunch outside in a beautiful park like setting. At the Porch, you can dine on fresh farm-to-table cuisine while taking in lovely views of the park.
The Porch specializes in scratch made food using ingredients from their local garden, as well as local farms. The menu varies throughout the year based on seasonal availability. Highlights on the breakfast menu include a savory quiche of the day, a seasonal omelet served with a buttered English muffin, and a burrito featuring fresh veggies, red mole sauce, refried beans, and housemade chorizo.
The lunch menu features a variety of fresh salads, pizza, sandwiches, and a few tempting desserts including Pineapple upside down cake and vanilla bean creme brulee. Dinner entrees include selections such as Lobster Mac and Cheese, Miso Chilean Sea Bass, and Mushroom Risotto.
Service can be a bit slow if you sit outside on the patio during the warmer months. However, the setting is very nice so it's not a problem. Enjoy an extra cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the nice ambiance.
