Unfortunately, there are not many nice local breakfast joints near Madeira Beach. One decent casual breakfast joint is a local establishment known as Lisa's Cafe. If you are seeking a no-frills, affordable breakfast destination, give Lisa's a try before heading off for a day of fun-in-the-sun.
Breakfast at Lisa's is pretty standard and the menu includes all of the traditional favorites like omelets, French toast, and pancakes. If you are craving something savory, try the vegetarian omelet which includes mushrooms, onions, peppers, and spinach. It's served with home fries and your choice of toast.
On the other hand, if you have a sweet tooth, then you need to try the French Toast. The favorite of local's is the Bananas Foster, featuring Flambe rum, bananas, dark brown sugar, topped with heavy Cream. br>
Lisa's also serves Columbian coffee and Lavazza espresso. Check their daily specials for deals on bottomless mimosas.
Service is just okay. Refills were really slow. There was a mix up with our order (staff's mistake) and they seemed to want to charge us for the difference.
The ambiance here is casual and relaxed. Not much in the decor department, however, this cafe should satisfy anyone seeking a laid-back place to enjoy a meal prior to exploring the beach. There is a great patio which you can enjoy most of the year.
Overall, Lisa's is an okay option for breakfast in the Madeira/Treasure Island region. As there are limited breakfast diners in this area, Lisa's is always bustling with tourists. Arrive early if possible to avoid a lengthy wait. Although the service could be improved, the food is decent enough to warrant a visit.
