Guiseppe's

Guiseppe's restaurant offers one of the nicest patios of all the Italian dining choices in Tucson. Add in fresh authentic food and great service and Guiseppe's is one of the better places in Tucson for a romantic dinner or special meal in the city. Although Guiseppe's is not necessarily the best Italian food in town, it's decent enough to check out if you are staying or traveling anywhere near the area.

Everything at Guiseppe's is homemade and authentic. Guiseppe's offers your basic menu of standard Italian fare plus a few specialties including their famous Eggplant Parmesan which is supposed to be fabulous. We tested out the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Meatball Ricotta (with Chicken Meatballs). The Fettuccine Alfredo was pretty good, although a bit on the heavy side. I ended up taking half of it home as it was just so rich and creamy. The Meatball Ricotta was a bit different, yet really delicious. This dish consists of homemade meatballs, farfalle pasta, and tomato sauce topped with ricotta cheese baked with mozzarella cheese. Pretty tasty, I recommend trying it out. Dessert looked delicious, although we were much too stuffed to even consider any of the tempting options on the menu.The Tiramisu looked fabulous, and would definitely be my choice should I visit again.

Service is the classy professional style you expect at most traditional Italian restaurants. Our server was very attentive and great at refilling drinks and refreshing bread, which by the way was really tasty.

Guiseppe's offers the perfect romantic ambiance for a date. Inside, the dining space is modern and colorful with pretty art adorning the walls. Depending on the weather, you will definitely want to plan to dine outside on their beautiful patio which is strung with pretty lights and overall offers one of the nicest vibes in Tucson.

Guiseppe's is one of the better Italian restaurants in Tucson. The ambiance, food, and service are all great, thus making it the perfect place for a dinner date or celebratory meal.
