V. Paul's Italian Ristorante

V. Paul's is a classic Italian restaurant located in Pensacola's fantastic, historic downtown. If you are seeking an elegant Italian dinner experience, complete with great food and service, V. Paul's is definitely the way to go!

V. Paul's offers a full menu of Italian favorites. Appetizers include selections such as: Bruschetta, Roasted Vegetables, Calamari, and Cheese Ravioli. Traditional Minestrone soup and a Ground Pork sausage soup, as well as several salad options are available to accompany your meal. A few of the Italian classics you will find on the menu include: Fettuccini Alfredo, Lasagna Bolognese, Pomdoro, Parmigiana, and Marsala. Additionally, several meat and seafood based dishes round out the menu. The Primavera, which included mushrooms, spinach, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and a garlic olive oil sauce, was a delicious vegetarian selection. The fact that they carried gluten-free noodles was a big bonus, however, offering a gluten-free bread in replace of the traditional bread and olive oil pre-meal would be a great add on to further please the growing number of gluten-free guests. Overall the food was excellent, especially considering the affordable pricing and attractive ambiance.

Our waiter service was professional and efficient. On this particular occasion, the staff was training a new waiter, who did a fine job.

The dining area is very modern and appealing with big windows looking out into the downtown area. We were lucky enough to arrive early enough to get a window seat. V. Paul's feels like a classy Italian restaurant you would find in a major city, rather than a small town Italian restaurant.

V. Paul's is your best bet for a quality Italian dining experience in Pensacola. Food was excellent, serving sizes were great for the moderate pricing, service was exceptional, and the dining area was very appealing. To top it off, V. Paul's is centrally located, allowing you the opportunity to explore the downtown area before or after your dinner. I would definitely visit V. Paul's again on my next trip to Pensacola.
