The Snack Shack

The Snack Shack is a small snack shop offering a variety of wraps, fried foods, and other snacks on Islesboro, a small island located off the coast of Maine. This is a summer only eatery that has a convenient location right off the ferry.

I ordered a veggie wrap and fries and both were really tasty! The menu consists of mainly fried foods, sandwiches, and quick snacks. Prices are reasonable with 2 wraps and fries costing about $15.

The woman working the Snack Shack was very friendly and willing to make substitutions at no extra charge.

Because this is an outdoor food truck, there are only a few picnic tables available for seating. On the plus side, it is located right next to the water so you can take in great views while eating.

The Snack Shack is a great place to get a few appetizers or sandwiches while you are waiting for the ferry. Waiting for the ferry can be inconvenient and this makes the time go by a bit faster.
