This beautiful waterfront restaurant is the place to go for excellent fresh seafood and an even better view. While vacationing in Pensacola Beach, you must plan for a meal at the Grand Marlin, which offers the best coastal views in town. What could be better than enjoying fantastic seafood while gazing at the gorgeous views of the Gulf Coast?

The Grand Marlin is known for having the best selection of seafood in the area. The menu changes daily, with new fresh seafood offerings based on availability. A raw oyster bar is one of the highlights of the menu. A few examples of appetizers you may find on the dinner menu include: Crispy Fried Florida Rock Shrimp, Crispy Lobster Fingers, and Calamari. A variety of soups and salads including a Shrimp Bisque and Seafood Gumbo will please seafood fans. The seafood menu varies daily to ensure maximum freshness. You may find Seared Swordfish, Grilled Black Grouper, and Maryland Style Lump Crab Cake on the menu. Entrees are served with potatoes and vegetables, so it's definitely a good value considering the great views. The Grand Marlin has also earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence by offering an 80+ wine bottle list. Gluten-free menu items are clearly marked, which is great, although we were highly dissapointed that they did not offer gluten-free bread for the sandwiches or as toast with breakfast. This is an easy change to incorporate into the menu as gluten-free bread can easily be stored in the freezer for months. Additionally, at least one vegetarian/vegan option should be offered for those who do not eat seafood or meat. The lunch and dinner menus are severely limited in terms of options for these guests. Brunch is an even better time to visit if you want more of a relaxing experience, especially if you are on vacation. The views are better, it's less crowded, and the prices are much cheaper. This is the perfect time to take a break and enjoy gorgeous views of the Gulf from the outdoor patio. A selection of freshly baked pastries, seafood based appetizers (Calamari, Cripsy Lobster Fingers, salads), and traditional brunch favorites (Steak & Eggs, omelets, Crab Cake Benedict, Fritattas, and more are available). The TGM Omelette (stuffed with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and spinach), and served with gluten-free hash browns was great, although not being able to enjoy the toast like everyone was a disappointment. A substitute of fruit would have been appreciated. Overall, breakfast at The Great Marlin was a fantastic value. The food was fresh and delicious, the pricing moderate, and the views simply incredible. It's the best place for brunch on any Pensacola Beach vacation.

Service was decent: professional and fast. Our waiter had no problem substituting the cheese on our omelet with extra veggies, however, like I mentioned above, did not replace the toast.

The highlight of a visit to The Grand Marlin is enjoying your meal on the large, breezy outdoor deck. The great views of the Gulf Coast make dining a much more relaxing experience: the perfect vacation vibe. With views like these, it feels more like a mini vacation then simply a meal.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing brunch, a night out with friends, or just seeking some fresh seafood, The Grand Marlin offers a one-of-a-kind beautiful setting for doing so.
