The baristas at Stellar really know how to make the perfect espresso drink. The Americano was the best I've ever tasted: smooth, rich, just delicious. Stellar serves Eiland Coffee Roasters coffee, a small family owned roaster based in Richardson Texas. Coffee is roasted each week, and to provide maximum freshness, ground fresh before brewing. In addition to espresso drinks, they offer the Japanese pour over brewing method, said to be one of the best brewing methods available. The resulting flavor is smoother and more flavorful. Hot chocolate, tea, Italian soda, and smoothies are also available. The food choices are pretty limited, however, you come here for the excellent coffee, not to eat. Breakfast includes bagels, muffins, and croissants. A variety of pastries including cheesecakes and cupcakes are available too. Lunch includes salads, wraps, sandwiches, and soups. For vegans and gluten-free diners, they carry a delicious line of dairy free/gluten-free treats from a local resident. The dark chocolate truffles were so outstanding that I decided to purchase several extra for my road trip.

At Stellar, you can tell that the baristas have a lot of experience and really enjoy their job, which really makes all the difference. The drinks were simply amazing.

The design at Stellar is pretty eclectic with an assortment of various decor to browse at while drinking your coffee. From an electric fireplace to local art work, the overall look is pretty appealing. They also have a comfy couch to sit on for those looking for a relaxing caffeine break.
