As soon as you step through the rustic doors of the Pine Country restaurant, you can tell that it is a local's favorite. This is not a surprise as Pine Country is one of the area's best values. Plus the service is friendlier and it's also one of the few places that does not overcharge simply because of the touristy location. Serving a homestyle menu, several dozens varieties of fresh homemade pies, and offering a cozy woodsy setting, it's the perfect place for a aid-back meal on your Williams/Grand Canyon vacation.

Pine Country is your traditional family style diner with a really big menu consisting of almost anything you can possibly think of. There are not many places like this in Arizona as most of the restaurant go for the modern simplistic theme, so Pine Country is a refreshing change. The food at Pine Country is surprisingly good for a small town cafe. There is a huge breakfast menu that you can order from all day. And the pie list is just huge with almost every flavor imaginable. The pie is a bit different than the traditional you are thinking of, however, the airy texture means you can enjoy a piece without feeling overstuffed. They also have a great coffee bar where you can order an espresso drink to accompany your slice of homemade pie. We tested out the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Fresh Atlantic Salmon. No complaints here- both entrees were pretty good. And for all the accompaniments, it was a pretty fantastic deal for the price. First off, we were brought over fresh hot rolls with butter. The salmon was served with a side salad or soup, vegetable of the day, and your choice of baked, mashed potatoes, fries, or rice. The sandwich was served with a big heaping serving of delicious homemade fries and fresh pickles. Let's just say we both left completely stuffed and satisfied. If you have room left over for a slice of pie, go ahead and treat yourself. The variety of flavors is astonishing, with everything from traditional apples to S'Mores available. I recommend the Mocha Cappuccino for any coffee lovers.

Service was great here, with the friendly standard you would expect at any family diner.

Pine Country definitely has the best setting in Williams. The comfortable woody design is very appealing and fits in perfectly with the small town/mountain atmosphere of Williams. Think similar to a Cracker Barrel type setting. Surprisingly, most of the restaurants in this area have a modern theme, so it's nice to feel like you can go back in time at the Pine Country. The big windows are great too as you can people watch all the action during the busy summer months, and also take in the beautiful colorful lights during the Christmas season.

Pine Country is a great choice in Williams. The menu has a little something to offer everything, and it is not an overpriced tourist trap like some other businesses in town. Staff is friendly, the decor is pleasant, and it has a great location in the center of downtown. Pine Country is an easy choice for any meal while visiting Williams.
