Doubletree by Hilton is a nice looking modern hotel. Everything looks sleek and new. It's a great basic hotel for anyone looking to have easy access to all the best sightseeing attractions in Manhattan.

The room was basic but provided all of the necessities. Everything was modern including the furniture and decor. The bed was very comfortable; I definitely felt like I woke up feeling refreshed.

We paid about $150 for a night in this hotel, which wasn't bad considering the prime location in the city. The one negative was the high price for parking - it was around $40! Check the website for promotions and special room packages.

Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Metropolitan was a great place for our 1 night stay in New York. If I was to go on a longer trip, I would probably prefer a hotel in Times Square (love that area). Even though Doubletree does not offer a lot of amenities, it is a great choice for those looking for a hotel with a great location at an affordable price.

The hotel is insane! So much fun and the staff are The greatest in the world. Friendly, smart carefree love their jobs and they dance in the hallways while they're vacuuming! Never have seen a staff so helpful and courteous! The location is beautiful and the rooms smell like lavender
