Windsor Hills looks like a typical apartment complex when you arrive. There is a 24 hour staffed gated entry, which is a great safety feature. It looks nice around the condo - new, maintained buildings - lots of nice palm trees around. I was pleased with the aesthetics of the building, the pool area, and the condos themselves.
There are several layouts to choose amongst. We rented out the 3 bedroom condo. There was plenty of room for everyone. The master bedroom had an attached bathroom. There was another room with 2 twin sizes bed and also a queen bed room. The couch in the living room also had a pull out bed. Everything was clean and decorated nicely, but in a simple manner.
Rates vary based on the time of the year and range from $95 in September and December to $135 for Christmas and New Year's. For our 1 week July vacation, we paid around $700. There is also a cleaning fee of $65 if you stay less than 7 nights. This is not a bad price at all considering that we had a party of 7. The price would have been much, much higher to stay at a hotel, especially for that many people for which we would have needed 2-3 rooms.
I recommend booking a Windsor Hills Condo for your trip to Disney. This condo made our trip fantastic. So many amenities are included at this condo for the small price tag: it really is a better value than staying at a Disney resort. And the convenient shuttle/short drive to the parks just makes it even more attractive. I will definitely be booking with Windsor Hills again on my next trip to Disney.
