Planet Hollywood New York
Planet Hollywood is a movie themed restaurant and bar with US locations in Las Vegas, New York, Myrtle Beach, and Orlando. I visited the New York location while on a vacation with Mike and a few family members.
Food
The menu includes lots of comfort food including a big selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and pasta. Basically, there is a bit of something for everyone here.
The food wasn't bad but it was spectacular either especially for the high price. But the decor was great and after all you are paying for the atmosphere more so than the food. Everyone was pleased with the food and drinks. We all loved the cool souvenir shot glasses.
Service
Our waiter was really fun. Because of the fun atmosphere and touristy location the waiter had more fun with our table, which is usually the case in all theme restaurants located in tourist destinations.
Atmosphere
I love the location right in the heart of Times Square. The decor is really nice with all the movie memorabilia. Planet Hollywood offers a unique dining atmosphere that really added something special to our New York Trip.
Final Remarks
I would visit Planet Hollywood again on my next trip to NYC. Other than the large bill, we all had a great time. The food was good, the drinks were great, service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was unique and entertaining.
