This downtown Tampa market and cafe is super popular with vegans as it is one of the few places in the Bay to offer an entirely 100% plant-based menu. Farmacy is conveniently located nearby many popular cultural attractions, and thus, is a great stop for lunch after exploring the city.

Food

Farmacy offers a small, yet enticing menu. They offer so much more than simple salads and sandwiches. On the menu, you will find vegan style Philly cheesesteaks, creamy mac and cheese, and acai bowls.

Try the Loaded Philly (featuring Impossible with garlic aioli and cheese) with grilled peppers and onions and marinated mushrooms. It's so close to the real thing that it's hard to believe it's not a traditional Philly.

For anyone who loves mac and cheese, you have to try the cashew Mac with is made in house with a cashew based sauce and a smoky seasoning.

There a handful of great sides to try here too. Try the Curry Chickpea, a delicious salad which features roasted garbanzo beans with chopped veggies in a tasty curry dressing.

Service

This is a quick counter service restaurant, so little service is involved.

Atmosphere

There is limited seating inside and a few seats outside which tend to fill up fast on busier weekends. Not much ambiance or decor, however, the food is decent enough to warrant a visit.

Final Remarks

Farmacy is a decent choice for plant-based cuisine. If you happen to be in the city visiting nearby attractions like the Tampa Museum of Art, the Riverwalk, or Curtis Hixon Park, you will want to plan a visit here for a tasty 100% vegan meal.
