Looking for somewhere great to eat after a long day at Indian Rocks Beach? Check out Jake's Coastal Cantina, a wonderful local Mexican establishment located just minutes from the beach. The laid-back ambiance and casual menu make it the perfect relaxed dining choice following a long day in the sun.
Food
The menu at Jake's is simple and delicious. The cuisine is Tex-Mex based. In addition to a small selection of specialty tacos and house specials, there is a build your own menu where you can customize tacos, burritos, or quesadillas with your choice of protein, veggies, cheeses, salsa, and sauces.
The Build It option is definitely the way to to go so you can customize, however, there are several interesting specials as well. A few of the more enticing options include Mexican Pizza, Beachy Crab Quesadilla, Fried Mexican Street Corn, and a Tuna Poke bowl.
Service
This is a counter service restaurant, although the little service provided was good. The staff didn't have any problem answering questions.
Atmosphere
The vibe here is super casual. This is the type of place you can visit on your way home from the beach. The layout is spacious and the interior clean and modern.
