Green Table Restaurant
Although we are starting to see more vegan restaurants pop up around the Bay area, the choices are still a bit limited. One of the best options in Pinellas County is a 100% plant based restaurant in Palm Harbor called Green Table. Here you can enjoy delicious meat-free meals, along with the best milkshakes!
Food
The menu at Green Table includes a number of sandwiches such as Philly Cheesesteaks made using housemade seitan, burgers made using Impossible, and wraps. Everything is made in house daily using organic produce and fresh ingredients. The bread is shipped from a vegan bakery in Sarasota.
Try the Wowper if you are missing fast food burgers. This entrée includes an Impossible grilled and topped with vegan mayo, pickles, lettuce, onion, and tomatoes. It comes with a small side, although the portion is a bit small for the high price tag.
The hummus roll up is another great choice. A whole wheat wrap is stuffed with homemade hummus and assorted veggies. It's very filling, and thus, the perfect refuel after a day of recreation.
Don't leave without trying one of their amazing milkshakes. These vegan treats are available in a butterbeer, Reese's, banana oatmeal, coffee, and pineapple dole whip.
Service
Service is just okay, not very personable, but efficient.
Atmosphere
The ambiance is nice. Nothing to write home about, but the space is clean and nicely decorated.
Final Remarks
Overall, Green Table is one of the better choices in Pinellas for anyone who is vegan and/or trying to limit dairy in their diet. There are plenty of interesting choices on the menu. While the food is overpriced, there are not many good plant-based choices in the area. The milkshakes alone warrant a visit, especially if you have a sweet tooth!
