Park Cafe
The Park Cafe is a classic American diner serving comfort style dishes. This restaurant is located in the Wellington Hotel in the Midtown section of New York. Because of the cafe's convenient hours (6am-2am), this place is popular, both for breakfast and late night eats.
This cafe is conveniently located within walking distance of many famous attractions, most notably Central Park, Times Square, and Rockefeller Center.
Food
The Park Cafe serves your basic big lineup of American comfort classics. The food is quite pricey, however, for the city this is quite expected. In the morning, treat yourself to a delicious Mushroom or Spanish omelet. Omelets range from $12-15 and come with home fries and toast. Not a bad value for a big city really. Those with a sweet tooth can opt to indulge in sweet classics like Challah French Toast or pancakes.
If your visit falls during lunch/dinner hours, you will have a number of options to choose amongst including sandwiches, burgers, salads, Italian & Greek entrees, steaks, and seafood platters.
After a full day on our feet, we were ready for some calorie laden comfort food. We truly enjoyed the Turkey Burger and Deluxe Grilled Cheese. And of course, we stuffed ourselves with endless French fries. What a treat after putting in miles and miles exploring the city!

The service was great, no problems with a lengthy wait or anything.
Atmosphere
The setting here is very relaxed. There is no need to worry about dressing up too much here. This is a great place to swing by for breakfast prior to taking a stroll through Central Park, ice skating at the Wollman rink, or for a late night snack after seeing a play or checking out the seasonal Christmas attractions in Rockefeller Center.
