Food
Lou's serves breakfast and lunch daily. Omelets, pancakes, french toast, and additional breakfast fare are served until 11am daily. In the afternoon, you will want to try out a zep or cheesesteak.
Zeps are sandwiches stuffed with salami, provolone cheese, onion, tomato, oil and oregano, served on a fresh Italian roll from a local company called Conshohocken Bakery.
The Cheesesteaks are super popular here. Lou's claims to offer the best in the neighborhood due to a perfect combination of meat, caramelized onions, and melted cheeses, all stuffed into a Conshohocken Bakery hoagie. This is one of the few places in the area to order a Chicken cheesesteak, so a great choice for anyone avoiding red meat.
Their french fries are pretty tasty, although not included with the sandwiches. Also, they offer a number of fun appetizers such as onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and cheese fries. And of course, you cannot visit an old-fashioned diner without ordering a milkshake! Vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate are available.

Service was friendly with a nice local vibe. The food did not take long on a slow weekday afternoon.
Atmosphere
This is a casual neighborhood joint which continues to receive business from loyal locals. From their own words, their diner is a place "where everybody knows everybody else." Walking in feels like a step back in town with the old-school diner ambiance. Take a seat at the counter and enjoy the laid-back 50's vibe.
