Food
Chef Wong has created an interesting lineup of entrees based on the cuisine of Southeast Asia. Here you can explore dishes from Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore. There are many exotic choices to choose amongst, along with more traditional Asian favorites.
We tested out a few staples like egg rolls, egg flower soup, and steamed mixed vegetables with fried rice. All were really delicious. What really stood out though was the Penang Prawn Noodle soup which included chicken, shrimp, and tofu with bean sprouts, a hard boiled egg, scallions, onions, and lo mein noodles in a spicy shrimp based broth.
Service
Service at Yellow Ginger is fantastic. The waitstaff is always pleasant and accommodating. The dining room is never too busy in comparison to the super popular downtown restaurants. Thus, the food does not take long to arrive and the waitstaff is always attentive.
Atmosphere
The decor at Yellow Ginger is pretty simple - perhaps a bit too bland. However, the restaurant appears to be very clean and well-maintained. The vibe is casual, so you can feel free to come in here casually after exploring any area attractions.
