Wild Joe's is one of the nicest coffee shops I have ever visited. After visiting numerous other coffee shops around the country, nothing quite compares to the relaxed, cozy setting of this fantastic coffee house.

Wild Joe's serves organic tea and coffee in downtown Bozeman Montana. The cozy setting is just perfect for a long, relaxing tea or coffee break while working on your laptop, reading, or simply taking an afternoon break.

Food

Wild Joe's offers the largest coffee menu in town. Beans are roasted by 2 small local Montana companies. They offer fresh milk from a small Kalispell farm, as well as organic non-dairy alternatives. Hot chocolate, smoothies, 7 different types of chai tea, and over 50 varieties of loose leaf tea will entice non-coffee drinkers to pay a visit.

We tested out the loose leaf White Peony tea - I am now hooked on this tea after trying it for the first time here. Smooth & Delicious! Prices here are very affordable; they give you a large pot of tea (definitely large enough to serve 2-3) for only $4. Half priced happy hours run from 6 to 7pm.

The food was reasonably priced, and they carried a decent selection of pastries & light snacks like muffins, bagels, sandwiches, etc.

Service

The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable about the different drinks offered.

Atmosphere

Wild Joe's has a nice location right in the middle of the downtown area. Baristas are very nice and there are plenty of magazines and newspapers available to browse through while sipping your drinks, with no rush whatsoever. Free wireless internet is also available.

Wild Joe's has everything you could think of to make the coffee atmosphere more cozy - blankets, couches, board games, and books available -I liked that they promoted a casual atmosphere instead of trying to rush customers out. It's basically the exact opposite of a Starbucks.

The shop was packed with people browsing the internet, reading newspapers, playing chess, and socializing. And luckily, the space is spacious enough to accommodate a sizable amount of people.

Final Remarks

I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed downtown atmosphere at Wild Joe's. It's by far the best place to take a relaxing break. They have a fantastic selection of more than 50 loose leaf organic teas and the baristas are trained in making top quality espresso drinks. Wild Joe's would be my first stop the next time I visit Bozeman.
