If you care about the quality of your food, Roost is one of the best choices in town. This restaurant is one of the few to use all domestic, in season ingredients, plus no high fructose corn syrup. The highlight here is a weekday farm-to-table lunch buffet featuring 2 homemade soups and a full garden bar.
Food
The highlight of the Roost menu is the incorporation of fresh local ingredients in every single dish. You will find fresh salads featuring local produce, burgers and sandwiches topped with locally raised meats, and sustainable seafood.
The best value here is the "Harvest Table" lunch buffet, offered Monday-Friday. On the buffet line, you will be treated to a full salad bar, several deli sides, 2 fresh homemade soups, and an assortment of flat breads. It's an excellent value.
Another great time to plan your visit is during breakfast buffet hours when a sizeable offering of breakfast fare including made-to-order omelets, pastries, and Southern specialties, all included for one low price.
