The B Line is a classic diner on historic 4th Avenue in downtown Tucson. Due to the close proximity to the University, it's very popular with the college crowd. B Line is most famous for their wonderful bakery, where everything is created from scratch via the direction of a pastry chef.

Food

B Line offers your basic lineup of standard breakfast fare. Pricing is very affordable compared to more trendy places in town. Additionally, they offer a tantalizing display of pastries and desserts each morning, all created on-site.

The burritos here are a steal, starting at just $5.50 for your basic potato, egg, and cheese. Nothing fancy here, just good affordable food. B Line is a good place to enjoy a light affordable meal and then get on to your next activity.

Service

The set up here is a bit cramped as there are not many tables, lots of people waiting for a table, and a long line to order at the counter when the place is already cramped. A bit frustrating to wait in a lengthy line that runs through an already cramped restaurant, however, the food is good and cheap so it's worth it in the end if your primary goal is an affordable, relatively healthy breakfast.

Atmosphere

The dining area is basic and cozy, albeit a bit too cramped, especially when crowded. There really is not enough seating for the crowds that this restaurant sees for breakfast, and unfortunately, the counter ordering setup just adds to the cramping.

As this is one of the older restaurants in town, there is a bit more historical charm than most. And, because it is popular with the locals, there is more of a hometown vibe.
